Each year Opsis holds an international sales meeting, during which new applications and technologies are discussed. In 2009 it was our turn to host the international contingent of Opsis distributors. The 2009 Opsis international sales meeting was held at the Vineyard Hotel and Spa.
Opportunity was given for the presentation and discussion of new fields of application for the Opsis equipment, and we would like to make use of this space to share some of it with you.
This page is not solely dedicated to one supplier. We may focus on Opsis now, but will update this page as we get details of new equipment and applications from our various suppliers.
Opsis gets an EX rating
Opsis recently received and EX rating on equipment and shelter installed at a CHP Plant.
A recent project at a CHP Plant required Opsis to develop EX rated systems, including the shelter. Download the document here.
A solution to providing power to Opsis' ambient fenceline monitoring systems
Older installations had the problem of always ensuring adequate power supply...
Older installations had the problem of always ensuring adequate power supply at both the emitter and receiver ends of a fenceline installation. With the ER120 reflector system, the emitter also acts as a receiver whereby emitted light is "bounced" off a reflector back to the emitter which also houses the receiver hardware. Read more about it here.
Opsis updates data handling
Sick and tired of high telecoms costs?
Changes in the way data is transmitted along with ever increasing expectations by end-users to have faster, more reliable updates, have lead to the development of the DL256LT. The DL 256LT (a name that is bound to change at a later stage) has the ability to make use of the internet and any form of fast wireless internet access system to transmit data to an FTP Serer, from where it will be accessed by the EnviMan software.
